PowerPoint Basic
In this class you will be introduced to PowerPoint’s basic concepts and, by the end of the class, be able to develop your own presentation. As with most of my classes, it will offer a mix of lecture and actual practice. Class time: approximately 3 hours. By the end of this class, you will know how to:
Use the various pre-designed slide layouts
Instantly dress up your presentation by applying a slide design
Import data, charts, pictures, etc. from other applications
Re-size, move and copy objects
Develop your own tables and charts
Format everything from text to pictures
Give Your Presentation Some Sparkle
Now that you know the basics of PowerPoint, learn how to impress your audience by making your information fly, sing and dance. Class time: approximately 2 hours. You will learn how to:
Find a host of slide designs on the web
Use slide transitions to make text appear likemagic
Add music and animation
Share your presentations with others and publish them on the web
